Apex Breaks
Flowing seamlessly between hype and hypnotic APEX BREAKS makes sure their shows are fun, first and foremost. Through crowd engagement, familiar tunes getting twisted and a touch of tongue-in-cheek politics, the 8-10 piece band is always looking to make the crowd smile. Though there are many genres splattered throughout their set, the three main sounds are evident in the moniker the band has chosen for themselves: Psychedelic for the delay-soaked, shapeshifting breakdowns along with their stage attire. Jungle for the lightspeed drums that are either matched by rest of the band or allowed to take center stage. Funk for the bands free-spirited approach to music that makes something out of nothing. Psychedelic Jungle Funk is not only the sound but the essence of being at the heart of Apex Breaks.
Blase Blase
Blasé Blasé, the band so nice they named it twice, is an eclectic group from Victoria, BC Canada featuring Daniela Jackson (vocals), Tejas Collison (bass), Gavin Rose (drums), Guillaume Richards (guitar, arrangement), Jesus Estevez (vocals, keys, production), Isaac Kwiatkowski (Saxophone), and, the unofficial 6th member, Shane Blaq (vocals). Blending elements of live jazz, funk and conscious hip-hop, they have a sound as unique and diverse as its members. Their sound ranges from high-energy funk / disco songs that get the dance floor moving to slower, soulful jazzy tunes, reminiscent of The Roots, Erykah Badu, or even the late Mac Miller. When restrictions were dropped Blasé Blasé hit the ground running with a string of sold out, high-energy shows and has been steadily making a name for themselves on Vancouver Island and the mainland. 2023 promises to be a big year for the group, with a string of critically acclaimed releases and festival bookings, this talented crew of misfits is making waves and reaching a wider audience with their unique brand of genre blending music that seems to have almost universal appeal/

The Random Collective
A place where we till the fertile grounds of chaos, and sow the seeds of riff. Let's pull the parasitic weeds, and collectively nurture our psychedelicious musical fruit. Music is to meant to bring people together. Our goal is to do just that, with Afro funk and neo soul vibes that get everyone out of their seats and onto the dance floor.
